Return of the blog

Since I (Tim) am in Guadalajara studying i would like to give some updates from my time in Mexico. Hopefully we can also put some Geneva pics and videos on here too although the videos may be youtube links since blogger has terrible video uploads.

I arrived last night in Guadalajara so today I took a few pictures. I'm staying with a host family: Francisco and Carla and their cute 2 year old Diego. Actually, my place is in the remodeled garage. Here is picture of the alley where they live. There are gates at each end and its pretty quiet so far. I really like these trees also.

Diego running in the living room. Notice the Christmas tree on the left and the pinata hanging from the ceiling. They have a cool outside area with a table where we ate lunch.

The plants growing on the stairs are basil, oregino, cilantro, mint, peppermint, etc. Its nice to be able to grow plants all year round.


This is the large traffic circle near where I'm staying. It conects the main roads of the city.

This gate 100 meters from where i'm staying reminds me of the arc d'triomphe
