Diego didn't quite make it to lunch and he missed out. Lunch here in mexico is later than the U.S., around 3 p.m. and it's the big meal of the day. When i return from school i'm pretty hungry at this point.

First up was tortilla soup, but this one was better than the one good one on recipies.com. The tortilla strips never got soggy. We added this special cubed fresh cheese that i have never eaten before (even in the motherland, CH). We also added avocado, sour cream and hot, but not too hot, dried peppers.

The second course was pasta.

This drink is similar to rice milk in taste but this one was made out of oatmeal somehow. I really like the one made from rice.
