Video- "Thank you, Mama!"

Here's Eva, acting a little shy, saying her newest phrase. Be still my heart!

"Thank you , Mama!"

Eva has been saying words for quite some time now but the other day she said her first sentence- "Thank you, Mama!" At first I thought it was a coincidence or I just didn't hear her correctly. So I played along and said, "You're welcome, Eva." But then she said it again, in the right context- I handed her something and she said, "Thank you, Mama!" Tim and I both looked at each other, very surprised. For the past two days now, I have been hearing, "Thank you, Mama!" Truly some of the sweetest words I have ever heard! But the funniest part is that she says, "Thank you, Mama!" when Tim hands her something. He corrects her but she has not picked up on it yet. I say this is payback for her first word being "Dada!" Hope to get a video soon of this passionate, energetic, sweet little girl saying, "Thank you, Mama!"

End of the semester videos

I (Tim) just finished the fall semester so I'm going to catch up on some blogging or at least post some videos of Eva...

Smart Car to Lunch

If you didn't know, I have a summer internship with Mercedes Benz Financial Services. Mercedes also makes the Smart car. Smart has only been in the US since 2008 but I remember taking this same (below) wingspan photo in 2001 in Paris. Since then, I have been curious about whether I would fit in the car. I was able to check out the electric smart that they keep at the office to go to lunch the other day....I had plenty of room!

These new smart cars are even a little longer than the ones that I saw back in 2001

This is my (boss') boss, head of the project management team. She is an alum of my International MBA program.
