Easter Egg Hunt- Literally!

Just as a recap: Laura is a 2nd grade teacher at a British school here in Prague. To get a glimpse of what life is like, I describe it like this: I'm an American who works in England but comes home to the Czech Republic. I dabble in 3 cultures a day! I have learned to throw any and all expectations out the window when it comes to day-to-day life and events. Take the Easter Egg Hunt for example:
Riverside's Annual Easter Egg Hunt was last weekend. As a teacher, it is part of my job to attend and participate. No, I don't hide the eggs. I hide with 2 other teachers in the woods with the eggs! The children (sometimes in masses) come charging at us, ready to earn their eggs. Yes, they must earn them! We ask "educational" questions and a right answer earns a chocolate egg. Its actually quite fun and turns out to be a lovely afternoon (see, I can "speak" British). No really, I enjoy it and especially enjoy that the word "hunt" is taken literally!

Stacy is reading questions to some of her students:
Laura is in charge of handing out the eggs:

Liz and Liza try to stay warm!
Helena was a great sport about putting on a bunny costume and getting chased by 1/2 the school:
I would certainly categorize this as one of our "sometimes" crazy adventures!
