Thanksgiving Overseas= Overcompensation

For the last 3 Thanksgivings we have had the pleasure of being invited to the Davis' for a HUGE Thanksgiving party. This year was, no doubt, the biggest turnout so far. We enjoyed mingling and meeting new people and of course, enjoying the food. There were many nationalities in attendance and it was fun to watch some people try their first thanksgiving meal. We always like to watch people try Pumpkin Pie, in particular, because it is definitely more of a "North American" thing.

On another note, living here we do not get the day off of work (Laura had to go to school and teach, Tim had practice later in the evening) and we don't get to see our families. So... somehow, every year, we find ourselves looking back on the week of Thanksgiving and counting up how many parties/work lunches we had and this year it was 3! Talk about overcompensation!
