On Friday Eva and I hopped on a plane and headed off to meet our daddy in Mexico. It was a long day with an early start (5am) and a late ending of getting to the house we're staying in at 8:30 pm (9:30 US time). Once Eva figured out that the day was going to be filled with other people giving her lots of attention and lots of time with mommy holding her, I would say it was one of the greatest days of her life so far. She was kind of like the mayor, greeting everyone we met. She was very smiley. She would get so excited and just shout for joy. I've never seen her quite this dynamic before! We ended up being delayed in Dallas for 3.5 hours so by the time we got to Guadalajara it was Eva's bedtime in the US. We still needed to go through customs, get our bags and get cleared before going out to meet Tim. Eva was still going and was doing belly laughs in the baggage claim. If this is how she's going to be, I have no problem flying with her! All in all, it was a great day with a happy ending.
Here's a picture of Eva en-route to Mexico: What a happy girl!
It was so wonderful to see Tim again! 8 weeks away felt like a long time but I have a feeling that our 8 weeks in Mexico will go by very quickly.
