My cousin, Wendy, and her husband just adopted a sweet newborn they named Andrew. The day after the wedding we went to my aunt's house to have a baby shower.

Then I went to a wedding shower for my friend, Elise.
Me, Elise and Cindy. Cindy is Elise's sister-in-law. Elise and I are "3rd generation friends." Elise's grandmother was in my grandmother's wedding and they have always been close friends, Elise's mom and my mom have always been good friends and went on vacations and high school together and then I grew up playing with Elise when visiting my grandmother and we have remained friends. Pretty neat, huh?
