About a month ago (yep.. we're late on this), Tim had a long weekend so we took a family trip to the beach! A lot of people from Guadalajara go to Puerto Vallarta since its pretty much the closest beach. I didn't necessarily realize that many people from all over travel there as its a big resort destination. So we saw lots of Americans and Canadians. Another thing that people in Guadalajara do is take the bus to these places. I'm not talking an old school bus here. They travel in classy nice, newish charter buses for fairly cheap. So we gave that a whirl too. I would say it was a good way to get from point A to B since we haven't driven outside of the city to know what that's like. Here's a recap of pictures from our first day there:
See, here we go:
Eva was a good travel buddy again. She fell asleep on daddy here.
Yay!! At the beach!
1st time in a pool. I think I like it!
Dad was fun to play with.
Relaxing on the lounge chairs trying my new skill of looking deep into your eyes.. until you're mesmerized by my cuteness.. and then BAM! I grab your face!
Mom bought me this sassy little number. I know, I know.. ridiculous.
Mmm, gettin me some daddy-o time.
Okay, now lets try the beach
Whew! Look at all that water in the giant bathtub
Very, very fun since I love bathtime
We are loving the palm trees.
Beautiful sunsets in Puerto Vallarta. We enjoyed them every night we were there.
Shrimp tacos. Mmm, mmm, good. You just can't go wrong with a tortilla with shrimp, salsa, cheese, cilantro and more salsa.
