Tim leaves Prague (tear, sniff, sniff) and transitions to a new adventure in the U.S.

Well, that's it folks. We have officially moved! Since our last blog post we have packed our bags, said our goodbyes and finished up our jobs. Tim is into his 3rd week of his MBA program and we are now living in South Carolina. Living is a funny word, however, as we are still unpacking boxes, suitcases and going through loads of our things as we have had Tim's mom drop off a ton of our stuff and Laura's parents drop off our furniture. We are grateful to both families for their help!

Tim left Prague first since he had orientation before Laura's school year ended. The week before he left he had to say goodbye to about 3 groups of people- his Athletes in Action team/Sports University friends, his basketball team and our church/Riverside friends. Here are a few pics from each:

We started out Tim's last week in Prague by having a sweet time at the Davis'- our friends and pastor. We enjoyed one last meal together, they prayed over us and we reminisced on our fun times with one another. Here's a good idea of what normally happens when we get together- silliness!

The Crossan's hosted a going away cook-out for Tim, inviting the friends he made at the Sports University and some from basketball:

Saying goodbye to the lunchlady and man who faithfully served Tim huge portions of food when eating at the sports university:

Then he celebrated a great season and one last farewell with his basketball team. One of his teammates, Jakub "Jay", coordinated this party:

One of the hardest goodbyes of all, saying goodbye to Mike and their "bromance." 1.5 years in Prague with Mike and his wife, Jacqueline, but this will be a lifelong friendship:

Finally, on Tim's last night in Prague, we spent the evening at one of our favorite restaurants, Cafe Giraffe (yes, that's the name), walking across the Charles Bridge one last time, savoring Cream & Dream icecream and finishing up at our friends' latest and greatest achievements- The Mosaic House, where we watched a World Cup game.

Bridge walk one last time:

At the Mosaic House enjoying the game:

Then off Tim went to SC for orientation into his International MBA program. Here is a picture of the first day in his suit (sans jacket):

Of course I am biased but I think he's so handsome in a suit!
One adjustment Tim has had to make is trading in his daily wardrobe of jeans and t-shirts for business attire. He is FINALLY allowing me to shop for him. So long t-shirts "celebrating" 10 years (as Tim calls it), holey jeans and socks!
