Happy Father's and Summer Solstice Day

It's a big day! Today is Father's Day so Happy Father's Day to all of those dads out there, including Laura's (pictured below). We also think about Tim's late father, Craig, with today being the first Father's Day without him. Thankfully, last summer Tim arrived at his parent's house to start our summer-long visit with his family on Father's Day. That is definitely a sweet gift from the Lord to be able to spend the last Father's Day with his dad!

Today is also the Summer Solstice. Before you think we are a bit nerdy, hear me out. We have never lived in a place that sees daylight this long. This morning the sun rose at 4:52 a.m. and set at 9:16 p.m. Seriously, though it starts to get light way before then (about 4 a.m.) and actually dark around 10 p.m.!
