Last week Laura had a week off from school! So she and 2 friends (Liz and Michelle) hopped on a bus to Germany. While there they went to Fussen where the famous Neuschwanstein Castle is. This is the castle that inspired Disney to model their Magic Kingdom castle and Sleeping Beauty castle from. It was beautiful! Then they spent time in two cities- Munich and Berlin. After participating in walking tours of each city, it helped them to better understand the history (esp. WWII and the Cold War), layout and interesting sights of the city.
