At Cuba Lake

Steve Edel, a longtime family friend, sent me this picture taken at Cuba Lake in NY state about 20 years ago. This summer when my parents and I went to my dad's 40 year high school reunion we visited Steve in Houghton, NY. Steve's wife, Christine, had passed away within the last couple years and he had this picture in his living room.
In the summer of 2007, my Dad and Steve swam across Cuba Lake in honor of Christine. This past summer, my dad was too sick and couldn't swim so Steve swam it twice. In the future, we talked about having the Craig Lyle and Christine Edel Memorial Swim across Cuba Lake.
