This is what we missed by going to Rome. Yes, of course, those are the czech Christmas carp. Carp are not easy to kill. When someone buys one of those beauties, the fish guy will hit it on the head with a hammer to kill it. Its a quite a bizarre site to see.
Laura decided to throw me a a suprise birthday brunch. For a December 31st birthday, its the best time to get people to come. On the 30th, i kept asking Laura questions like "why do we need 2 dozen eggs?" or "How can we eat 12 bagels?"

ummm carp....sounds so yummy. Dave would like for you to make the traditional Christmas carp dinner the next time we see you guys. He said he's waiting with baited breath...terrible I tell you. Love the pictures and stories keep them coming.
